A pink pen scribbled on a white lined cheet of paper that was attached purple spiral notebook. A tanned hand fimrly grasped the pen as she hummed to the tune of the song she was writing. It was a ballet of sorts that she had been working on for over a week now. The girl that owned these items sighed and ran a hand through her hair. It was a song about her best friend who she was in love with but couldn't tell him. This song was a way to get her feelings out. The girls brown lock hung in her face curling slight has her head hung. She had let it go natural today which wasn't something she would usally do. Usally she would straighten it or put it up. She felt it unnessisary today since she wasn't doing anything. As she was writing she started to hum to the tune of another song.
When a shawdow came over her she frowned and looked up to see her brother standing over she squinted a bit and gave a small smile. "Hey Zee, what's up?" She asked closing her note book. The male ruffled her hair which instantly got a glare out of her as he sat down next to her. "Nothing much. Just checking in on my baby sister." Grace rolled her eyes at these words and shook her head. "One I'm not your baby sister. I'm only fourteen months younger than you, and two I'm fine. You don't need to keep checking up on me. Why don't you go bother Evers?" Grace said with a smirk which got a eye roll from the male. "What ever loser." He said ruffling her hair again. "Quit that!" She said as he walked off. She shook her head and mumbled under her breath.
Once the male was out of veiw she sighed and opened her note book back up. She flipped through the pages of the book before coming to the page she had just been on. "And I'd be the best friend that you fall in love with." She sighed heavily at these words and frowned. "I wish that were true." She said with a sigh and then shake of her head. She needed to tell him how she felt and soon. Before it was to late. Next time I see him. She thought to herself and then nodded her head. Yes. That was what she was going to do. She was going to tell Jake next time she saw him that he like him... no loved him with practically her entire heart. So much so that it hurt. She smiled lightly to herself and brought her legs up and under her. She then started to write once again. She was so into her writing that a few minutes later she had no idea someone had sat beside her. She was so focused on the song she was writing.

Jacob walked into his dorm room and tossed his bag onto to his bed. School had finished an hour ago but he had to stay behind because he had detention for not handing in a piece of work which was still sat on his side table next to his bed. He let out a sigh before moving over to the mini fridge, he then opened the door and took out an apple. Since his room mates were out, he decided to look for them. Jake took a bite of his apple as he walked out of his dorm room, making his way out of the building. The male continued eating his apple as he walked around the school looking for any of his friends, most of them were probably out with girls or in town since it was a friday. Thinking of girls reminded him about Luna. He had asked her out last week and she had said yes so now they were dating. Jacob had just been in history with her last lesson, he had gotten his grade back from his project and with the help of Luna he had recieved an A. Ever since he began dating Luna, history had been more fun. Don't get me wrong, he had a laugh with Grace but it was better now that Luna sat next to him. Speaking of Grace she had been extremely quite in that lesson over the past few days, maybe she was trying to tell him something. If he wasn't a boy he would of figured it out by now!
As Jacob reached the front of the school, he spotted Grace sat at the fountain with her brother. When Zaine left, Jacob began walking over to her. After finishing his apple, he tossed the core into a bin as he passed it. When the male reached the fountain he sat down next to her. Since she hadn't taken any notice of him, Jacob peered over her shoulder at what she was writing. It looked like a song..a love song. Smirking, Jake poked Grace in the ribs lightly "Whatcha doing?" He asked.

The female continued to write until she heard a voice coming from behind her and she nearly jumped out of her skin. She then looked to her left and saw it was Jake she smiled lightly and pushed him away. "Jeeze Jake! Don't do that! You scared the living daylight out of me!" She joked with a small giggle. She then quickly closed the notebook and shook her head. "Nothing. Working on...a new song." She said with a shrug and a small smile. Her petite hand then ran through her long locks as a yawn escaped her lips. For some reason she was exhuasted.
After the yawn was finished attacking her body she smiled at him and bit her lip. "How are you?" She asked tilting her head a bit. As she stared into his eyes her stomach started to do somersaults and she felt like a school girl with a crush. She had to bite a bit harder into her lip to hold back the giggles that wanted to escape. To help with the giggles she looked away from the male and toward the people that were walking around waiting for him to say something.

A chuckle escaped the males throat when Grace jumped out of her skin. Jacob smirked and gave a light shrug "That was the idea!" He said with a teasing smile. He watched the girl close her notebook before saying she was working on a song. "A love song?" He said teasing her again, also hinting to her that he had saw a little of it. When Grace yawned Jake rose a brow "Been having a lot of late night chats with my sister?" He asked with a small smirk. When she asked him how he was he shrugged again "Good how about you?" He asked curiously. A brow raise again when he saw Grace biting her lip pretty hard, what was she trying to stop from coming? He let it go when she turned away from him, probably trying to get rid of the problem.

Grace rolled her eyes and shook her head when he said that it was the point of his whole thing. Same old Jake. She thought with a small giggle escaping her lips. Her eyes widened a bit when she realized what he said next her eyes closed quickly. "You read it?" She asked precing her lips together praying that he would say no. Her eyes opened and giggles escaped her lips as she shrugged her shoulder. "What can I say. They shouldn't have dormed us together." She said smiling brightly.
When she was asked how she was she just shrugged her shoulders and sighed. "I'm okay. School is a hard this year. I'm already getting behind." She said with a frown. She then realized that she had the confindence to tell the male now and she was kinda curious about how he would act. "Hey Jake. Can I ask you something?" She said her voice a bit quiet and she wasn't really sure if he was able ot hear her or not. She could feel herself shaking a bit with fear of rejection. She swallowed back the fear though and took a deep breath waiting for his go ahead.

Jacob watched the girls eyes widen when he asked if it was a love song. When she asked if he read it he shrugged "I only read the first few lines, relax" He said with a small smile. His mind then went back to the words he had read on the page in her notebook. Uh oh There you go again talking cinematic, Yeah you! You're charming, got everybody star struck. I know, How you always seem to go, For the obvious instead of me, But get a ticket and you'll see. He felt like those words were supposed to mean something to him but he couldn't figure it out yet, maybe in time. Jacob rolled his eyes playfully when Grace said they shouldn't have put them in the same room. "Yeah like they had a choice! You both threatened to sleep in the corridor unless you were roomed together!" He said with a small chuckle, remembering that day. The first day the three of them had arrived at the school. Fun times. A frown appeared on his face when she said school was hard and she was already getting behind. "Well if you need help just ask" He offered with a smile. "Hey Jake. Can I ask you something?" The male nodded "Sure.." He said, hoping he wouldn't regret it. While he was waiting for her reply he remembered something important. "Oh! Before I forget again, your friends with Luna right? Well can you tell her I said to cancel our date until tomorrow, I have a ton of homework to do" He said with a sigh. One of the many things he hated about school was the homework. They piled it on like there was no tomorrow. Jacob glanced around before looking back to Grace "So what did you want to ask me?" He askec curiosuly with a smile on his face.

I only read the first few lines, relax. Grace shook her head and bit her lip lightly. If only he understood why she was freaking out then he wouldn't be telling her to relax. She sighed and kicked her feet back and forth and a loud giggle escaped her lips and she shook her head. "And we would have too!" She smirked as she looked back over at him. She then nodded her head and smiled, "I will, thanks." She said her voice getting quiet as she started to feel confident in asking him what she wanted to know more than anything.
She was just about to ask when he started speaking. As he did her world flipped upside and she felt like crying. "O-of course I will." She asked swallowing back her sadness and trying to put on a happy face. She didn't know how she could act happy now since she felt like her heart had been torn out. There was a whole load of pain there now instead. "So you two are d-dating then?" She choked out as she looked away from him and closing her eyes so the tears wouldn't come out. She took a deep breath and opened her eyes back up and looked at him as she put a smil on her face.

Tyler smirked and rolled his eyes "Sure you would and knowing you two you would of dragged me along with you" He chuckled. The male rose a brow at the way Grace's voice sounded when she said of course she would. He shrugged it off and smiled "Thanks I ow you one!" He said nudging her lightly. When she asked if they were dating in a choked voice he frowned again but nodded. "I guess, we have been on a few dates and she is really funny" he said with a small smile. Jacob put a hand under Grace's chin and turned her head toward him so there eyes met. "You sure your okay?" He asked, biting his lip lightly.

The girl closed her eyes again when he offically said it she couldn't speak. It almost felt like she couldn't breath. All she wanted to do was get away from him and curl up in her bed and bawl. She had lost her chance to be with him and now it hurt like hell. When she felt his hand on her face and it turned toward him she couldn't meet his eyes at first and when she finally did she had to resist the earge to lean in and kiss him. "I'm perfect." She said with a fake smile as she moved to stand up. Her stomach was turning and she really wanted to get away from him now before she broke down in front of him. "I need to go though. I have a paper due tomorrow and I haven't even started it." She said looking down at her shoes again not meeting his eyes. "We should hang out again sometime soon." She said kicking a stone and biting into her lip.

Jacob tilted his head to the side a little when Grace closed her eyes again, what couldn't she stand to look at him or something. The male gave a small nod when she said she was perfect, he knew something was wrong but he wasn't going to force her into telling him. After all he had known her for fourteen years and forcing her to tell or do something wasn't a good idea. Unless you actually wanted to be ignored for days. "I need to go though. I have a paper due tomorrow and I haven't even started it." Jacob nodded again "Alright..Grace you know you can tell me anything right?" He asked with concerned eyes. When Grace said they should hang out again soon he smiled "Yeah we should, maybe on sunday?" He asked.

Grace wrapped one arm over her stomach and then other one went through her hair before wrapping itself around her. Breath grace, just keep breathing. She kept telling her self as she looked past the male. "I know I can and you know I would tell you anything." She said as she chewed on the inside of her lip and shrugged her shoulders when he suggested suday. "I think I'm going home for the weekend. Somethings come up and I don't wanna be here right now." She said licking her lips and looking at Jake percing them together in a tight smile. "But maybe after class one day?" She said and then began to bite into her cheek pretty hard. She started to taste the tangy, iron tast of blood.
Grace quickly turned away from the boy and as she started walking hasitly to her drom a single tear slid down her cheek. She burst through the door room and through her on the bottom bunk which happened to be Demi's. She wasn't sure if the girl was hear but she didn't feel like climbling up on her bed. Instead she stared at the ceiling and groaned. "Why are guys sooo stupid!" She asked not really talking to anyone as a few more tears slid down her cheeks. Her heart hurt so much right now. More than it ever hurt before.

Demi was sitting in her room listening to music trying to get muse to right a song she had been working on for weeks. Demi wrote a few more lines before throwing the pen down and standing up, she needed to be comfy and since she wasn't going out anywhere she decided to get changed into her pajamas. She moved over to her bed and grabbed the clothes then walked into the bathroom and got changed. When she walked back out, Grace was just walking inside. Demi watched her best friend throw herself on her bed then ask why boys were so stupid. "Because they were born with no brain cells" She said as she walked over. Demi sat next to her "Whats wrong Gracie?" She asked, biting her lip lightly.

Grace bit her lip and held in a small laugh when Demi came out talking. Grace then sat up slowly and frowned before sighing heavily. "Your brother has a girlfriend." Grace said looking down at the ground. "And I was just about to tell him how I felt." Grace said as she chewed on the inside of her lip her blue eyes fixated on the floor. "I just don't get it!! I thought I was dropping hints left and right." The girl said as she through her self back on the bed pulling a pillow over her face and pressing it in so she could scream into it and it would be muffled. Once she was done screaming she sighed but left the pillow on her face.

Demi gave a small nod and sighed when Grace said her brother had a girlfriend. That explained the girls mood. She listened to Grace say that she was about to tell him how she felt aswell. Demi frowned "I'm sorry Gracie" She said biting on her lip. "I just don't get it!! I thought I was dropping hints left and right." Demi ran a hand through her hair and sighed "You were! But boys are just idiots and don't take notice." She said with another sigh. The female watched the other girl grab a pillow and put it over her face to muffle her scream. Once she was done, Demi poked Grace lightly in the ribs "We need to cheer you up!" She said poking her again.

"Ugh! Why not! Why can't boys be like girls! It would make life sooo much simplier." She mumbled into the pillow as she pressed against her face. She wasn't crying anymore which was a plus but she knew the first time she saw HIM with HER she would break down. "All I've wanted for the past three years is him and now this happens! When I was FINALLY ready to tell him. I waited to long! I'm so stupid!" She said shaking her head back and forth. When she felt something digging in to her ribs she shyed away a little bit and pulled the pillow from her face. "No! I want to mope." Grace said sitting up on her elbows. "Isn't that what your supposed to do when your heartbroken?" She said looking at the clock and then back to Demi. "Eat TONS of ice cream, mope around, watch soaps, and in my case write songs?" She said staring at her best friend. She then flopped back down again and flipped over on her stomach burring her face in him. "I wish boys weren't complicated!" She said as the mattress muffled her voice. She then felt her phone vibrate in her pocket and then song of 'Come on Get higher' start playing. She slowly slid the black berry out of her pocket and looked at the contact. When she saw who it was she thew it across the room. The thing smacked off the wall and then gently landed in the Carmen's bed. "UUUGGGHHH!!" She said once again smashing her face into the matress once again.

Demi listened to Grace's words and smiled a little "Because then they wouldn't be boys and really I don't think I could handle the bitchiness from them" She said with a small giggle. Demi sighed at the girls next words "I think you should still tell him if you like him THAT much" She said. "Yeah I guess but you aren't moping! You can eat all the ice cream you want but no moping! It make me feel sad and bad for you" She said as Grace smacked her face into the mattress. When Grace said she wished boys weren't so complicated Demi laughed "Me too!" She said. She watched his bestie pull out her phone when she got a text then throw it against the wall as she screamed. The female let out a sigh and walked over to the bed and got the phone "Whats the phone ever done to you?" She asked teasingly. Demi moved back over to her bed and sat down next to Grace "So who was it, Jake or Luna?" She asked as she handed back the phone.

A small wimper escaped the girls lips when she said she wasn't aloud to mope but she nodded her head. "Fine. No moping but I want TONS of ice cream so become fat!" She mummbled into the bed. She rolled onto her side as she fetl the bed lift and watched as Demi grabbed the phone and handed it back to her. She quickly deleted the message and then sighed. "The Idot." She rolled her eyes and then rolled onto her back. She looked up at the celing and bit her lip. "I can't wait till summer! I just want to get away." She said chewing on the inside of her cheek and sighing.

Demi rolled her eyes when the girl whimpered when she was told she couldn't mope. "Fine. No moping but I want TONS of ice cream so become fat!" "Alright all the ice cream you can eat and all the drinks and chocolate! As long as you share, i'm without a fella too!" She said with a quiet giggle. When Grace said the idiot she smirked "It was Jake then" She concluded. "I can't wait till summer! I just want to get away. Demi grinned "Me neither! Just think. All the sexy italian gods waiting for us!" She giggled again. Demi was definatley way over boy crazy.

Grace rolled her eyes but nodded her head, "Alright you can get fat with me!" She said a smirk on his face. She then let out a small yawn before nodding her head. "Yeah. Kinda left things awkward between us." She said shaking her head and wishing she hadn't left when she did. "Like really really awkward." She said with a small sigh. Her smiled grew on her face though as Demi started talking about Italy and she nodded her head quickly. "I know! I can't wait! You need to learn some Italian before we go." She said sitting up fully again and bringing her knees up to her chest. She looked around their room before her eyes landed on Demi once again. A small smile formed on her lips as her chin rested on her knees. "So what are we going to do about this little crush on MY brother." She smirked a little more but not moving from her curled up position.

Demi rolled her eyes and smiled "Fine you can help me with it..teach" She said sticking her tongue out teasingly. "So what are we going to do about this little crush on MY brother." Demi shook her head "Nothing! He has a girlfriend and he doesn't like me that way" She said with a shrug.

Grace rolled her eyes and shook her head. "Fine." She said in a dramatic sigh. She then let a small yawn escape her lips before she looked up again and listened to Demi and giggled. "We have a few months and then I'll start. " She said with a smirk. She wasn't very good at teaching people things but was willing to teach Demi a few things. She then frowned when she said nothing was happening. "But you HAVE to try. I want him to fall for you so he'll dump Zailey!" Grace whinned and then looked at Demi with big pleading blue eyes. She then sighed and blew her bangs out of her eyes. "I guess I'm going to have to find a new crush now. There is this amazingly gorgeous boy in my math class." She said with a small dreamy smile on her face. "Maybe I can get Jake a little jealous or something." She said with a sigh. She then stretched out her legs and her feet playful nudged Demi's hip.

She then bit her lip and smirked a little bit more before replying to the girls next set of words. "Ryan... Ryan McCarthy." She said giggling with a bit a saying his name. She then ran a hand through her hair and smashed her head into the pillow as a yawn escaped her lips. "Gosh I don't know why I'm soo damn tired. I haven't done anything." "I doubt it, once Jake finds out he will probably jump at the chance to be with you" She said with a sigh. "Ryan... Ryan McCarthy." When Demi heard the name she giggled "Omg he is sooooo hot!!" She grinned. "Gosh I don't know why I'm soo damn tired. I haven't done anything." Demi shrugged "I'm tired too, probably school work" She said then lay back next to Grace.
