Demi drove her blue ford fiesta through the town. She passed one of her favourite places, the mall. The place she was going today was the beach. When she reached the car park, she pulled into a spot and cut the engine. The beach was her favourite place to think, relax and write new songs. Demi grabbed her notebook and got out of the car then locked it behind her. As she walked toward the golden sand, she looked around. The beach was pretty deserted that afternoon. With a content sigh, Demi moved across the sand, sitting down when she got to a nice spot. The minute she sat down a shiba inu puppy ran over to her. Demi smiled and stroked the dogs head "Hey Hachi!" She said fussing over him. Demi had found the dog just under a year ago. He had been a stray so she had looked after him. The puppy now lived with a friend of the families but he was let out for most of the day since he knew the way home. Demi watched the dog lay next to her and lean against her while she scratched behind his ears. She opened her notebook and began writing a few words to the song she was writing.

Zaine drove from his house after getting bitched out by his dad. Sometimes his dad was just way over the top strict and it was annoying. He was just stopping in to say 'hi' and his dad went off on him about his grade. Why in the world did that damned school have to send home grades was beyond him. Now he was just driving around town finding a spot to relax. When he finally came to the beach he nodded his head and sighed before parking his car and getting out.
As he walked along the beach he spotted a human form and a dog. As he got close her knew he reconized that form but it wasn't until he was almost right on top of the person that he realized it was Demi. He smirked to himself and then kneeled behind her before looking over her shoulder. "What'cha'doin'?" He asked resting his chin on her shoulder and tilting his head so that it was lightly resting against her head. A smile still played on his face as he lifted his head and kissed her shoulder before coming around to site next to her.

Demi glanced around the beach as a few birds landed by the water. Soon Hachi had jumped up and went off to chase them, typical dog. She moved her eyes back to the writing on her page and re-read it. They say the beat of a butterflies wings, can set off a storm a world away. What if they're right and the smallest of things, can power the strongest hurricane. It sounded good so far, she would have to get Grace to read over it when it was done. "What'cha'doin'?" Demi jumped when she heard someone speak then rest their chin on her shoulder and her head on hers. When she realised it was Zaine she relaxed. "Don't do that!" She scolded. When he moved around to sit next to her she gave him a small shrug "Just trying to write a song" She said handing him the notebook. Seeing a new human, Hachi raced over and nearly crashed into Zaine.

Zaine smirked at the girls reaction and then moved to sit next to her instead. "What. Did you think I was freddie kruger?" He chuckled and then looked over the note book as she handed it to him. He smiled lightly and turned his head toward her. "Do you need any help on this?" He asked scooting a bit closer so that if needed they could work on it together. He then kissed her cheek lightly and sighed. Sometimes he wished he didn't have Zailey so he could focus on a steady single relationship but with her he couldn't do that because he knew she was sleeping around and so he did the same thing. He sighed and laid back as thoughts ran through his head.

"What. Did you think I was freddie kruger?" Demi narrowed her eyes at him "Not funny, that movie freaked me out!" She said then watched the dog move to lay next to her again. She smiled and stroked his back. "Do you need any help on this?" Demi nodded and glanced at the book "Yep i'm stuck on what to put next" She said with a sigh. A smile crossed her lips when Zaine kissed her cheek, the other night hadn't just been a one night thing then. Demi looked over to Zaine when he lay back. Why couldn't he just dump the bitch and be with her! She poked his chest "Hey you need to help me" She said with a smirk.

When the male felt pressure in his chest he looked up at her and chuckled. He then shook his head and took her wrist in his hand and tugged on her pulling her ontop of him. He then kissed her lightly before resting his forehead on hers. "We can do that later. Lets have a little fun for now." He said looking both ways and smiling lightly when he noticed no one was there he smirked and then looked back at the ebony haired girl. He then kissed her again this time it was with a bit more passion this time.

Demi rolled her eyes when he laughed at her and shook his head before grabbing her wrist and pulling her on top of him. When she felt his lips touch hers, she smiled into it and kissed him back, frowning a little when he broke off. She rested her forehead against his and listened to his words. "We can do that later. Lets have a little fun for now." Demi smirked and rolled her eyes "You get distracted easily" She said as she looked around, it was still deserted. Demi crushed her lips to Zaines again and moved them with his.

The male chuckled and shooks his head at her words and then they kissed once again. As they were kissing the male heard a squeal and his eyes widened and he broke it off scrabling to see who it was. When he saw his sister standing there looking horrified and angry his eyes widened and he walked over to her at a hasty speed. "Grace!" He said laying a hand on her shoulder. Grace smacked the boys hand away and shook her head. "Your fucking using my best friend! Don't touch me!" She said backing away and then looking over at Demi with a glare. She then side stepped around the male and went over to her. "How could you not tell me! I thought we were best friends!?' Grace said and just as she reached the girl she was spun around by her brother who had a glare on his face. "Grace! This is none of your business!" Zaine said his hand resting on Grace arm. "HA! Yes it is when it involves you cheating on your girlfriend with my best friend!" She said shaking her head and gritting her teeth.

Demi smiled and continued to kiss him until she heard a squeal. She threw herself off him and looked up to see who it was. Grace. "Ah shit" She muttered. Demi stayed sat on the sand while Zaine walked over to talk to her. "Your fucking using my best friend! Don't touch me!" Demi frowned at Graces words and looked to Zaine. She did have a point though, he was using her but in a twisted way she didn't mind. When she saw Grace walk over to her she stood up and backed away, she didn't want to get hit. "How could you not tell me! I thought we were best friends!?' Demi bit her lip and sighed "I'm sorry it just happened!" She defended. "Grace! This is none of your business!" Demi looked back at Zaine then to Grace "HA! Yes it is when it involves you cheating on your girlfriend with my best friend!". "Grace it really isn't your business! Please just leave it alone" She said with a sigh.

Grace frowned and looked at Demi once again with a sigh. "How can you let him use you?" She said looking at the sand and then into her eyes once again. Zaine frowned and sighed before shoving his hands in his pocket and looking down. He knew Grace was right that he shouldn't be using her like he was and he really hated that he was but he did have true feelings for the girl and thats what made all of his harder. He sighed once again and turned on his heels and started walking off. He needed to clear his head and make sure he was doing the right thing. Grace on the other hand stood with her arms over her chest waiting for Demi's anwser. "All that will happen is you'll end up getting hurt. I wanted you to flirt with him not have sex with him." She sighed and then sat down in the sand.

She didn't know why, she just liked Zaine and if letting him cheat on Zailey with her was the way to do it then thats what she was going to do. Demi frowned when Zaine turned on his heel and walked away from them. Thanks for the help. "All that will happen is you'll end up getting hurt. I wanted you to flirt with him not have sex with him." Demi rolled her eyes and kicked the sand with her foot. "Well your not the one taking that risk! And I could say the same thing about you and Jake" She snapped.

Grace sighed and shook her head, "This has nothing to do with me and Jake! That is nothing like what your doing with Zaine!" She said her teeth gritting a bit. She then started drawing pictures in the sand. "Just go after you boy toy. I need to cool down and think." She said sighed and looking out into the ocean and not out her friend anymore.
While Grace was cooling down Zaine was climbing up the peir and walking along the board walk. Once to the end he plopped his but down and hung his legs over the edge swinging them lightly. He needed to think about what he was doing with Demi. He really did have feelings for her but being with Zailey made things worse. He wasn't going to end it though. He liked the girl [demi] too much and it was fun being around someone who knows him inside and out.

Demi rolled her eyes at Graces words, sure flirting with a boy who had a girlfriend wasn't like what she was doing. "Just go after you boy toy. I need to cool down and think." "Fine whatever" She muttered before turning around and heading over to the peir. When she reached it she walked down the wooden platform until she reached Zaine. Demi moved behind him and grabbed his shoulders and pushed him forward lightly before pulling him back. "Tell your mum I saved your life!" She joked. She sat down next to him and looked out at the horizen.

Zaine hummed lightly as he looked out at the water when he felt himself being pushed forward and his eyes widened but then he was pulled back and he heard a firmilar voice. He chuckled lightly and shook his head. "She will be forever greatful." He winked before staring out at the waters. He gave a small sigh before looking over her with a frown. "I'm sorry about Grace but she's right. All that can happen out of this relationship is me hurting you." He said sighing once again and then looking down at the water crashing into the rocks below his feet. "If you don't wanna do this anymore I would understand." He said swallowing a bit and then looking over at her.

Zaine felt a ping of jealousy rise up in the pit of his stomach when the girl said she would date other guys but quickly shook it away knowing he had no right to feel jealous and instead nodded his head. He sighed again as she spoke but a smile formed on his face and his chocolates turned toward her bright and relieved. "Good." He said brining his hand up and taking her chin between his fingers and kissing her lightly. After a few seconds of letting the kiss linger he broke it off and smiled brightly at the girl he then kissed her nose and turned toward the ocean. "Wanna go have some fun?" He asked pulling his legs up so he could stand and then standing up himself. Once on two feet he held out his hand for the girl with a smile on his face.
