The sound of flip flops clip clopping off the ground echoed through the empty hallways as the brunette made her way out of the building. Even though it was sunday, she had just gotten back from a horrible weekend with her parents, and she just broke up with her boyfriend of less than a month but was completly in love with, she still had homework to get done and she needed to talk to the professor. Now she was on her way back to her dorm to study and read. It took a moment for her eyes to adjust from the harsh lighting of the sun and when she closed her eyes she was sent into a flash back of what her father had said over the weekend.
'Gracelyn Elisabeth! I can't believe your sleeping with him!' Grace frowned and shook her head. The girl crossed her arms over her chest and stomped her food lightly. 'Daddy! It's not a big deal. I love him and he loves me!' The male growled lowly at her words and took her arm in his hand pulling her close. 'I don't care! I don't want my sixteen year old daughter getting pregnant and having the reputation as the school slut!' The italian man said angrily the fire in his eyes scaring the teen a little bit.
Slut. That word kept ringing in her ears over and over again. Not only had her father called her that buy so did Jake. A single tears slid down her cheek but she swallowed back the rest and wimpered. Instead of going to the dorm room she decided that she would hang out in the courtyard and try and get her mind of things. As she walked over to her normal place under the giant palm tree she felt like all eyes were on her. She knew it wasn't true but everything that was happened made her feel like it was. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair before sitting underneath the tree. She sighed and threw her head back before looking down at her hand and the ring that rested on it. She closed her eyes and another flash back took over her body.
'DAD! I don't wanna do this!' The girl cried out as he father had his hand wrapped around her upper arm pulling her into a church. 'I don't care Gracelyn! You are doing this no matter what. Your promsing me and god that you will not be doing what you were doing with Jacob ever again. You are getting back your innocence!' He scolded the girl who just rolled her eyes and shook her head. 'You can't make me stop! I'm a big girl! I can take care of myself! and why are you doing this to Zaine! He's sleeps around a lot more than I do!' She sighed as they walked through the hallways looking for the pasture.'Because Zaine isn't my little girl. He's a guy. He can do what he wants." The man told which the girl again rolled her eyes and shook her head. 'Hipocrit.' The girl growled which made the man come to a immediate hault. 'What did you say!?' The girls eyes widened and she shook her head biting her lip. 'n-nothing!' She said smiling lightly. The man nodded his head and continued his search.
Grace was afraid to cross him again that day after her little outburst. Her father never phyically abused his children but he did have some anger issues that were used to instill fear into his children. The girl perced her lips together as she stared down at the ring. She then pulled it off her finger and let it travel through her finger tips. She had told Jake about what she was now wearing and he wasn't very pleased about it but what guy would be. They had been having fun and now her father put a cap on they're fun. Jake had told her to get rid of the thing and she had agreed but something in the pit of her stomach had told her not to and until now she hadn't. She snarled at the thing and shook her head. It had caused nothing but bad luck for her since she put it on. Not only did her dad ground her but her best friend and brother broke up, her boyfriend broke up with her and called her plenty of different names as did she call him.
Those painful memories came back and she chucked the diamond ring into the sea of people in the court yard. She didn't watch if it hit anyone or anyone picked it up though. She just pulled her knees up to her chest and burried her face into her legs. She wasn't crying though just hiding from the world. She didn't even bother looking up when a shadow loomed over her body. "Please just go away." She mumbled. She looked horrid and she really didn't want anyone to see her this way. She had no make up on, her hair was in a raggidy little bun and her clothes were just thrown on her body. She wasn't even sure she matched right now. She didn't care either. The only person she ever tried to impress was gone from her life so there wasn't a point in trying anymore. When the shadow didn't move she grumbled, "I said please!" She said looking up and her jaw dropping a little as she saw a face she didn't expect to see. "W-what do you want?" She asked her voice soft and full of saddness as she looked the person over biting her lip softly.

Jacob was wandering the hallways and was in a foul mood. He was angry, upset and guilty. Angry because his supposed best friend broke his sisters heart. Upset because he and Grace had just broke up and guilty because he had called her a slut, which she wasn't, he hoped anyway. Jake was wandering the halls because he didn't want to go back to his dorm room in case he saw Zaine. If he saw Zaine, blood would be spilled. Bored and thirsty, Jake walked over to a drink machine and scanned over the drinks. Crap ones as usual. With a sigh he put his money in and typed in the code for a water. When the bottle got stuck he slammed his hand into the side of the machine repeatedly until it finally dropped. Good, some of his anger was out. Jacob reached into the flap and picked up his water then began walking again. When he heard his name being shouted, he let out a sigh and spun around. "What?! He yelled back. It was a teacher, great. With a scowl on his face he walked over to him and towered over him, signaling for the teacher not to piss him off anymore. "Was that you making all that noise out here?" The teacher asked. Jacob rolled his eyes and shrugged "No it was Casper the friendly ghost" He said sarcastically. Of course it had been him, there was nobody else in the hallway. "Don't get smart with me, keep it down I am teaching, do it again and your on detention, got it?!" Jacob shrugged and turned to walk away. When he felt a hand grab his arm to stop him from leaving he grit his teeth and turned back around. "I said got it!?" The teacher said with a dark expression. "Yes I got your stupid warning and don't touch me again!" He spat at the man before pulling his arm from the mans grasp. The teacher tutted and walked back into his class. "Jackass" Jake muttered as he walked through the corridor.
The male unscrewed the cap off his drink and sipped the cool liquid. After a while, Jacob came to the court yard, it was a nice day and the sun was shining so he decided to relax on a bench for a bit. As he walked into the crowd of people he spotted a familiar brunette sat on one of the benches. It was Grace. He would talk to her but he wasn't going to be the one apologizing first. As he began walking over he saw something fly from the girls hands into the air then landing near to him. It was her purity ring, good riddance. With a sigh, Jake bent down and picked it up then brushed off any dirt. He walked over to the bench and stood behind her, casting a shadow over head. "Please just go away." Jacob frowned and debated on getting out while he could. He decided to stay. "I said please!" Jacob rose a brow then watched as she turned and looked up at him. "W-what do you want?" The male shrugged and chewed on his lip. He lifted his hand and opened it, revealing the purity ring "You dropped this" He said. Jacob sighed and looked at Grace with soft eyes "Are you okay?" He asked.

The girls eyes scanned the form before her and the frown never left her face as she reached up and pushed his hand away. "I didn't drop it. It's a curse. So I got rid of it just like you wanted." She said turning her head to the side as she shook her head. "No Jake. I'm not." She bit her lip and look up at him once agian. "My brothers not talking to me, my best friend is depressed, and my boyfriend . . . well you know what he did and what I did to him." She squeaked out and looked into the crowd. She sighed and chewed on her bottom lip. "I'm really sorry Jake. I didn't mean anything I said." She swallowed heavily and ran a hand through her loose hair and then brought it down over her face. Her blue eyes never left his face as she stared up at him chewing on her cheek wondering what he was going to do or say. This is something she didn't want. Their fourteen year friendship ruined over something stupid. She sighed and finally broke from his gaze to look down at the emerald blade. She wondered how everything got soo screwed up so fast. It was like in the blink of an eye everything went from being perfect to nothing.

Jacob frowned when the girl pushed his hand away. "I didn't drop it. It's a curse. So I got rid of it just like you wanted." He nodded "And if I wanted you to jump off a bridge you would?" He said raising a brow. Just because he wanted something didn't mean she had to do it if it made her unhappy. "No Jake. I'm not." He bit his lip and nodded again. He already knew that, it was just a force of habit, he always asked her how she was. "My brothers not talking to me, my best friend is depressed, and my boyfriend . . . well you know what he did and what I did to him." He sighed and shoved his hands into his pocket, he already knew that too. The same thing was up with him except it was his sister that was depressed and he wasn't talking to his best friend. "I'm really sorry Jake. I didn't mean anything I said." Jacob bit his lip and moved around to sit next to her. "I'm sorry too and I didn't mean anything I said either, well about you anyway" He said. Jacob lifted his hand and took took hold of Graces chin with his finger and thumb before turning her head to face him. "I'm here if you still want me" He said with a slightly cocky grin, his eyes never left hers as he spoke.

Grace bit her lip and shrugged her shoulders when she was asked the common question about jumping off a bridge. She then sighed and continued to speak. She told him what was wrong and knew he was going through the same problems. She slowly nodded her head and looked down when he said he was sorry. She hated what she said to him but she was only trying to protect her brother in his time of need. She need to find out what was wrong with him before he did something stupid. When she felt his hand on her chin the girl slowly turned her head he her eyes connected with his and then a smile formed on her face. She then nodded her head slowly and leaned in letting her lips connect with his for a moment in a gentle passionate kiss. When she broke it of her smile was even bigger now. "I worked to hard for you, not to still want you." She said biting her lip as a small school girl giggle escaped her lips. She then wrapped her arms around his waist and laid her head on his chest. The sound of his hear beat slowly comforting her once again.

Jacob watched Grace smile and nod before leaning over to him and pressing her lips to his. It was a quick passionate kiss. He kissed her back and frowned a little when she broke off but listened to her words. "I worked to hard for you, not to still want you." A smile formed "Good because I'm not about to let you go" He said as he wrapped her arms around her. Jake kissed the girls brunette hair then opened his hand again "So what do you want me to do with this?" He asked, looking at the silver purity ring. "Want me to mail it back to your dad" He asked with a small playful smirk.

Grace smiled lightly at the boys words and ran her hand along his chest. It felt natural to be in his arms like everything was perfect. She then watched as he unfolded his hand that held the purity ring and she frowned and shook her head. That thing wasn't going on her finger again but she also knew if her father didn't see it on her finger Jake was dead. She giggled at the males next words and shook her head. "Not unless you wanna get murdered." She said with a smirk. "I deffinatley don't want that." She said giggling a little more. She then thought for a moment and took the ring into her fingers. "I'm gonna keep it." She said staring at the heart studded in diamonds. "But I'm not gonna wear it unless dads around. What we do can be just between me and you." She said shoving the thing into her pocket and then sitting up a bit more. She then pressed her lips against his but this time she didn't break it for several long moments, until she heard someone clear there throat. The girl slowly turned her head to see a teacher staring down at them with her arms crossed over her chest. "Break it up you two! No one wants to see your little make out session." The teacher said in a low hiss. Grace rolled her eyes and pushed off Jakes chest. Once the teacher was out of hearing distants she she shook her head. "She's just bitter she can't get any." Grace said rolling her eyes and standing up. She then reached out for Jakes hand and the pulled of him to stand up. "Lets go somewhere where we can't get into trouble." She said tugging even more than before. She really didn't know why she was so eager to go somewhere, she just was.

Jake smiled when he heard her giggle. "Not unless you wanna get murdered. I deffinatley don't want that." He chuckled "Either do I, I like living" He said. Jacob nodded when she said she was going to keep it. "But I'm not gonna wear it unless dads around. What we do can be just between me and you." A smile appeared on his lips "Sounds good to me" He said then kissed her forhead. When he felt the girls lips touch his he smiled and kissed her back, moving his hand to the back of her neck to deepen it. "Break it up you two! No one wants to see your little make out session." Jake broke off and rolled his eyes at the teacher. He chuckled at Graces comment and nodded. "Lets go somewhere where we can't get into trouble." Jake smirked and nodded "Kay..someone is an eager beaver today" He chuckled lightly. Jacob stood up and led her to the school field. It was emtpy which was good. The male stopped when they reached the back wall "So what do you want to do?" He asked.

Grace smirked and shurgged her bare shoulders as she helped pull him up. "I'm just in a good mood." She said kissing him once more before felling him tug on her hand toward the school field. She quickly followed him with her hand laced with his and a large grin on her face. When they finally reached the back wall she turned to face him and giggled lightly shrugging. "Something fun!" She said kissing him once more and then looking around them. "Since we never played our little game of truth or dare wanna play or do you wanna do something different?" She asked lifting a brow with a bright grin on her face. She then ran a hand through his hair before biting her lip and sitting down in the grass. She brought her legs up to her chest and wrapped her arms around her legs. She then rested her chin on her knees and smiled up at him. "You still wanna come to Italy? It'll just be me and you but it still should be fun." She smiled softly which turned into a smirk and she giggled softly. "OR you can let me go by myself and I can got boy hunting!" She giggled and a small blush crept up her cheeks. "Mmmm surounded by really hot Italian boys. Sounds like a plan." She said giggling even more and biting her lip waiting for his reaction. She tilting her head and the smile on her lips never left her face as her corral lips formed in a smirk.

Jacob looked over to Grace when she said she wanted to do something fun. "Since we never played our little game of truth or dare wanna play or do you wanna do something different?" He shrugged "Maybe, what would you rather do?" He asked. When she sat down, he did the same and scooted closer to her, letting one arm rest around her shoulders. "You still wanna come to Italy? It'll just be me and you but it still should be fun." He rolled his eyes and smirked "Course I do, I mean pissing off your dad and all, what could be more fun?" He asked with a playful smile. When he did the same thing she leaned into him and rested her head against his chest and giggled lightly at his words. "Not much." She said with a smirk. As long as she had Jake around she didn't mind pissing her father off. She then shook her head and looked at him. "No you don't! I'm the only girl your getting!" She giggled and kissed his jawline. She then rolled her eyes and shook her head at his next statement. "Sorry. I'm forcing you to come now that you put those images in my head." She said smirking a little more as her hand ran up and down her chest tracing light circles. "Truth or dare." she smirked starting the little game as she placed her head in the center of his chest once again listening ot his heart beat.

Jacob chuckled at her words. "We could always disobey my father." He gave a pretend tut "Naughty Grace" He said with a shake of his head. When she leaned into him and rested her head on his chest he moved the arm from around her shoulders to her waist. "No you don't! I'm the only girl your getting!" Jake smirked "Now that's hardly fair. How would you know if you were the only girl I was getting?" He asked with a sly smile as she kissed his jawline. "Sorry. I'm forcing you to come now that you put those images in my head." This made him smirk. "Good now I can keep an eye on you in Italy" He said with a slightly evil smirk. Grace giggled and blushed lightly at his words and shrugged her shoulder. "Me? Your the one that convinced me not to keep the ring on." The girl said jokingly and smirking. She wouldn't have kept it on anyway. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair scoffing at his next set of words. "Jake! You better not or I'll kick your butt!" She said pushing on his chest with a smirk. Then she grumbled lightly at the boys next set of words and rolled her eyes. "What are you gonna keep me on a leash?" She asked giggling lightly and joking around with him. She then smirked when he told her he wanted a dare. She had to think of a really REALLY good dare. "I dare you to streak across the feild at the next home game during half time." She said chuckling lightly. "If you don't I put the ring back on for two weeks." She said biting her lip and giggling. She knew that wasn't the way the ring worked but it was a good way to get to him because with it on she refused to have sex or anything alone those lines other than kissing.

Me? Your the one that convinced me not to keep the ring on." Jacob smirked and shook his head "You would of taken it off anyway" He said. "Jake! You better not or I'll kick your butt!" "Yeah sure you will" He said with a smirk when she hit his chest. "What are you gonna keep me on a leash?" He rolled his eyes and shrugged "I will do what I gotta do" He said with a chuckle. I dare you to streak across the feild at the next home game during half time." His eyes widened slightly at the dare. "No way! I'm on the football team do you know how much shit I would get if I did that during half time?!" He asked. Besides how was he going to change out of his kit in time. "So whats my punishment?" He asked with a sly smile. He had plenty of things up his sleeve if she tried anything bad. "If you don't I put the ring back on for two weeks." He frowned and folded his arms across his chest. Now that was unfair. When he thought of something to get back at her he smirked. "Alright you put that ring back on. I will have a great 14 days down at the club with lotsa different girls" He said with an evil smile.

Grace shrugged her shoulders and smirked a little bit. "Maybe I would've, maybe I wouldn't have." She said lifting a brow and then rolled her eyes and shook her head. "I so could kick your butt!" She said folding her arms over her chest and giggling a bit. She then shook her head quickly, "You are NOT putting me on a leash! I'm not a dog." She said sticking out her tounge. She couldn't stand people who put other people on leashes. It was weird and inhumane. A small yawn escaped her lips as he refused the dare. She shook her head and chuckled as she told him his punishment. Her blue pools scanned the male and smirked at his reaction but when he spoke her eyes widened. "Ew!!! After that I wouldn't touch you with a ten foot pole! Who knows what those girls have!" She said shuddering at the thought. "And you would really cheat on me because of a ring?" She asked tilting her head and crossing her arms over her chest looking the male over. "Anyway, I dare you to prank call someone in your phone acting as a foreign person." She said with really no emotion at all. She was trying to get what he said out of her head. She shook her head and smiled lightly up at him waiting for him to do the dare. "Don't forget to block the call!" She said smirking a little bit and then laying back in the grass and staring up at the sky as she listened to the male. As she looked up at the sky her cammi kept rising up and she pulled it down but it just rose again. "Ugh!" She said shaking head and letting he shirt go since it wasn't cooperating. She then leaned up on her elbows to look a Jake again waiting for him to ask her.
