Long, slender legs moved quickly down the sidewalk. It was Saturday morning, just around 9:30 a.m. and Luna Zahra was just fifteen minutes away from being late to her first day on the job. Just the thought of being late made the young woman walk even faster. But as the large and beautiful musem came into her sights a sigh of relief hit her. When she reached the steps she jogged up them and burst through the spinning doors.
The Egyptian glanced around until she saw the office of her employer. Just as she started moving toward the door it opened and out stepped Mr. Hawthorne himself. The timid female placed a smile on her face and hurried to him. The male smiled and greeted her. The two talked for a few minutes before he let her go. The female let out another sigh and hurried into the employees' locker room. She found her locker and placed her hat and purse inside. After making sure the locker locked she clocked it and saw that she was right on time.
That made her smile even more. Luna then moved over to the full length mirror and looked over her outfit. It was dressy and pretty, just like a tour guide ought to look. The female brushed her bangs to the side and then nodded at her reflection. She was ready. The tall female left the locker room and passed the break room as she moved down the hall. She pushed open the door and entered the actual musem. She then looked back at the door she had just came from with the 'Employees Only' sign on it. She wanted to go back but she stopped herself.
Luna put a smile on her face and took a deep breath before moving forward. She moved to the desk in the center of the large lobby. Sitting behind the desk was Lilly, a co worker and a very kind woman. When she reached the desk Lilly looked up and smiled. The two spoke for a few moments before Luna realized that a group had finally formed for her first tour of the day. Luna quickly composed herself and smiled. Hello and welcome to the Natural History Musem! Now if you will follow me I will lead you to the hall of African Mammals. She spoke and turned to walk in that direction.

Jacob walked down the stairs at the front of the school buidling, heading toward the car park. When he reached his black volvo xc60, Jacob pulled out his car keys and unlocked it before climbing inside. He put the keys in the ignition and started the engine after fastening his seatbelt. He put the car in gear and began driving out of the school grounds toward town. Jacob was taking a trip down to the natural history museum for a few hours, he had a history project to do and he needed ideas. Feeling parched, Jacob parked outside a cafe to get a drink. He stepped out of the car, locked it then walked into the cafe. The line was short so he didn't have to wait long. When it was his turn, he ordered a cup of tea to take out. While his drink was getting made, Jacob got out his money and gave the woman the right amount. He took hold of his drink and made his way out of the cafe. Seeing as the museum was around the corner, Jacob decided to walk the rest of the way.
As Jacob walked, he sipped his drink and got out his phone to reply a few texts he had recieved earlier on. Once he arrived at the museum, he waited outside the doors for a few minutes until he had finished his cup of tea. No food or drinks were aloud in the museum and he didn't want to waste his drink. When it was finished he tossed it into the bin as he walked inside. Jacob looked around before seeing the front desk. As he began walking over to it, he spotted a group of people and a woman speaking to them. She must be the tour guide. Jacob walked over and joined at the back, listening to the last of her words. They were going to the hall of African Mammals. Jacob glanced around again before following the group down to the hall.

Once the group reached the African Mammals Luna began to speak about the lions. After that she spoke about a few breeds of monkey and the zebra. Oh and don't forget the elephants and giraffes. Then she ended with the camel. These mammals are mainly associated with deserts and hot places where most animals are unable to thrive. Camels are mainly associated with the Arabian Peninsula. The large camel population there only backs this fact up even more. Luna paused when someone raised their hand.
She smiled and nodded, waiting for them to speak. "Can camels run faster than horses?" The young child asked. Luna nodded. They can out run a horse but not all the time, they may look slow but when inspired enough they are very fast. She answered. The female finished her little scoop about camels and they moved out of the African Mammals exhibit.
Next the group went into the large marine exhibit. It was definitely a favorite of the visitors because it was a rather large aquarium. They even had a few sharks and dolphins in some of the large tanks. Luna spoke about this exhibit and answered some question. Then they moved on to the dinosaurs. There were several questions about this exhibit especially from the two little boys who had come with their grandparents.
The next twenty minutes went on like this until the tour finally ended. Luna thanked everyone and answered some final questions before people turned to the gift shop or to the doors to leave. The young female sighed softly and leaned against the large, circular desk in the middle of the lobby. Lily smiled at her before getting up and excusing herself for her break. Giving tours were definitely exhausting.. The female then glanced up and saw a familiar face. Luna looked more closely and saw that it was Jacob from history class. She waved to him and smiled.

Jacob walked amongst the group, glancing around at a few members of the public who walked past them, some going in their direction some going the opposite. He even noticed a few people from the school. When they reached their destination, Jacob moved away from the group and read a few of the information boards underneath the animals. This exhibit seemed interesting but he would see the rest of the tour before deciding. While he looked around he listened to the tour guides voice telling them about camels. Camels were quite amazing creatures, going without water for days and surviving the hot desert sun. When a little girl asked a question, Jacob turned around and listened to her question. "Can camels run faster than horses?"
[/i] His eyes traveled to the tour guide as she answered the girl. He rose a brow at her answer, he didn't know camels could out run horses when they wanted to. When the group began moving again, Jacob caught up and joined them in the marine exhibit which was mostly a large aquarium. Jacob moved over to the tank and watched a few fish swimming around. He glanced over his shoulder when somebody asked a question. When it was answered he looked back into the tank, only to come face to face with a shark. Jacob jumped back and bit his tongue to stop himself from swearing. Jesus he was scary and big! He placed a hand over his heart and walked back to the group. Jake definatley wasn't doing his report on this exhibit! Once his heart was beating properly again, Jacob looked at the tanks again, seeing a few dolphins. He liked dolphins, they could kill sharks. Good dolphins. A small sigh escaped his lips, he still had no idea for his report. Jacob walked into the dinosaur room after the group and walked around, reading the information stands. Dinosaurs seemed interesting. He would do either Dinosaurs or the African Mammals. When the tour ended, Jacob checked his watch, it was nearing 11.00am. The male moved into the gift shop and bought a few post cards. He would send them to his parents and prove he was actually studying. After paying for them, he moved out of the store and finally got a proper look at the tour guide. Since he had been at the back he hadn't really seen her face, just the back of her head. It was Luna from a few of his classes. A smile crossed his lips as he walked over to her when she waved. "Hey! Didn't know you worked here, or that it was you giving the tour" He said with a crooked grin. [/size][/blockquote][/blockquote] STATUS: complete. After Luna waved Jacob started to walk over her. When he reached her she smiled again and looked up at him. "Hey! Didn't know you worked here, or that it was you giving the tour" He said with a grin. She chuckled and shook her head. She had just applied on Wednesday of this week. After the interview she honestly thought that she wouldn't get the job but surprise, here she was! And I didn't know you were afraid of sharks. She said and giggled.
The female remembered just about ten minutes ago when they were in the marine exhibit. She had turned around and saw one of the sharks moving toward the glass where Jacob was standing. Then Jacob looked over and had gotten scared. A soft smirk appeared on Luna's face as she thought over the memory. She would definitely keep that in mind whenever she felt like teasing Jacob.
So, did you come here for your history project? She asked with a smile. If he was she could definitely direct him toward some good choices. Doing a project on dolphins would be pretty cool. She had chosen camels since she used to own one in Egypt.

Jacob looked over to the circular desk and smiled, it looked like the one from Night At The Museum. A smirk crossed his lips as he looked back to Luna "So does anything come alive at night?" He said with a teasing look on his face. That was one great movie, it would of been cool if was real. Just think of the things you could have learned from some of the real things that were in here. When Luna said she didn't know he was afraid of sharks with a giggle, Jacob rolled his eyes playfully. "Well it was right there in my face!" He said with a small chuckle. If that had happened to anyone else they would of done the same thing. Coming face to face with a human killer, it wasn't fun. "Name one person that wouldn't of done that. Not including people who study or work with them" He said with a small smirk. So, did you come here for your history project? Jacob gave a small nod "Yep and I have no idea what to do! And definitely no sharks" He said with a smile, eying her a little.

"So does anything come alive at night?" Jacob asked. Luna laughed aloud at this and smirked. Of course someone would ask that question. Yes, everything comes alive at night. It's amazing really. Though it gets rather scary when the dinosaurs starts running about. She said and chuckled. The female shook her head lightly and her wavy hair bounced loosely on her shoulders.
"Well it was right there in my face!" Jacob said, defending himself. Luna smirked and shrugged. She raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms over her chest. He was just a sissy. The thought made her chuckle and then she smiled. "Name one person that wouldn't of done that. Not including people who study or work with them" He said. Luna nodded and pretended to think. Who would? Well you Americans keep saying that this "Chuck Norris" guy is pretty mean. So him. She paused and smirked. Oh and me of course! She added and laughed lightly.
"Yep and I have no idea what to do! And definitely no sharks" Jacob replied. Luna nodded and smiled. That was good. Now she could show him around and give him suggestions. Well Jacob,.. She paused and glanced over the book that held the tour times for the day. She didn't have another tour for a while. So she basically had three hours to kill. I can show you around the exhibits and suggest some animals? But you can't use the camel because that's what I am using! She said and chuckled.

Jacob smiled when Luna laughed at his question, at least he hadn't been serious when he asked it. He smirked when she said that things did come alive and it was scary when the dinosaurs were running about. "Yes Dinosaurs and the wild animals are things to watch out for when your in a museum that comes to life" He said. Jacob rose a brow when Luna actually answered his question. "Well you Americans keep saying that this 'Chuck Norris' guy is pretty mean. So him. Oh and me of course!" Jacob smirked at her last words Okay I will give you Chuck Norris but I don't believe that you wouldn't be scared if you came face to face with a shark" He said with a light chuckle. When Luna offered to take him around the other exhibits he smiled "That would be a great help thanks and don't worry I won't" He said with a small laugh. Camels weren't Jake's thing.
